Scott
Lab Manager
Scott leads our orthotics lab with a focus on quality and efficiency at every turn. He oversees all stages of custom orthotic production—from initial design and material selection to final finishing—ensuring each piece meets our exacting standards. Beyond managing workflows and training new team members, Scott still loves hands-on work in machining and woodworking projects. His dedication to precision and his knack for problem-solving keep our lab humming, so every child gets an orthotic that’s built to last and built just for them.
Jonah
Lab Technician
Jonah brings craftsmanship and engineering know-how to the bench as one of our skilled technicians. He handles molding, fitting, and fine-tuning each orthotic, working closely with Scott to translate prescriptions into finished devices. With a background in biomedical engineering, Jonah’s enthusiasm for prosthetics and medical devices shines through in his attention to detail and his drive to find better ways to support our young patients. Outside the lab, he unwinds crafting projects by hand and exploring the outdoors.
Karla
Lab Technician
Karla is a dedicated lab technician with over a decade of experience in crafting high-quality orthotics. Her passion for creating custom orthotic solutions ensures that each product meets the unique needs of our patients. Karla’s expertise and attention to detail play a vital role in enhancing patient comfort and mobility.

The mission of the Mikki Device™ and all Pediatric Orthotics products is to provide effective solutions for common foot issues in children that can be easily administered by parents or caretakers at home without a prescription, referral or required doctor visit.
Backed by years of research and success, the MIkki Device™ and other Pediatric Orthotics are focused on one thing: Offer effective treatment to children across the US and world, especialy in areas where pediatric podiatrists or medical doctors may not be available.
Developed Under the Guidance of a Pediatric Podiatrist
Dr. Mikkel Jarman is a Pediatric Podiatrist that specializes in the treatment of Sever’s disease in children. Dr. Jarman received his doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine from The New York College of Podiatric Medicine, is a member of the American Podiatric Association, American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, American College of Foot & Ankle Pediatrics, and was awarded the Master HyProCure surgeon in June 2020. Dr. Jarman has researched and published a paper on Podiatry Today titled, “Can Early Correction Of Hyperpronation Help Prevent Secondary Deformities?”.
